I worked with this family when I was first starting my photography career, we did a family shoot with their two adorable boys! I was so excited for them when the contacted me looking for a newborn photographer in the Raleigh area to welcome their first daughter!! The whole family was so excited, and I have to say this little love was gorgeous and did perfect for your session! Talk about baby fever!!

This sweet baby girl missed having her newborn pictures taken, so her mom contacted me looking for  a newborn/child photographer in the Raleigh area, we set up the shoot as soon as possible and got these gorgeous pictures at 5 months old!  This sweet girl was very camera shy and just did not want to smile for me, mom or the camera.  I still feel we got some great shots that showed her shy personality and mom was very happy we documented this time for her!

Ahhhh, Ava! I was more than surprised when a old friends younger brother contacted me to ask me to do his newborn pictures, it seems like just yesterday he himself was running around as a teenager   Time flies by and this teenager has grown into a wonderful man and father.  He and his beautiful wife came to my studio and we had such a great time talking about old times, fishing, and days before babies and children.  Ava is such a sweet and beautiful baby girl and was born with a gorgeous head of hair! I am so excited to share our shoot, we got some great images!

Last Saturday was only my second time shooting twins! I was very prepared and mom helped out, so it all went really really well.  These two sweet gorgeous girls were so very good for their shoot.  We had a lot of fun and I can honestly say this shoot went better than I could have imagined.  As a newborn photographer I think twins can be a challenge.  However these little girls completely proved me wrong and were little angels.

I had the absolute pleasure over the weekend of photographing these beautiful girls! Mom and Dad came to my home from Raleigh for their newborn shoot! So much fun, here is a sneak peek and I will be working on the full gallery over the next few days.

Ahh, so many things to say about this sweet little girl and her amazing parents! Lucy was a dream for us Newborn Photographer’s, she was so sleepy and completely let me pose her as I liked with no resistance.  Mom, Dad and Grandma came to my studio from Raleigh and we had a great afternoon talking about babies and life and how this one amazing little person completely changes your world.  Dad plays the guitar and brought it along hoping we could incorporate it into our shoot, I think its pretty safe to say we did.

As I was driving through downtown Raleigh for this sweet newborn session, I had no idea how much fun I was going to have! Mom and Dad are new to this area and mom had just seen snow for the first time ever! The little bit of snow we had this year, lets keep hoping for more .  Daddy is in the Navy and we just had to make sure we got some great shots of Marley with some of Daddy’s stuff.  This little girl did not like to be naked, she much preferred to be wrapped up snug!

This little girl was so wide awake and alert and was in no mood for sleeping during her newborn shoot  She wanted to see all the action! We paused for a long feeding and then we were able to get about 20 minutes worth of sleepy shots! We had a little mix of a lifestyle shoot too, she was a very happy little one awake or asleep, destined to be a model! What a lovely family and a beautiful baby daughter!

What an amazing way to start off the New Year with a gorgeous little baby boy! I love newborn shoots, they are my absolute favorite and they give me baby fever every single time! Mom and Dad had lots of idea’s for our shoot and I love the aviator shot with the hat and glasses.  This little guy had a big appetite the day of his newborn shoot, but that’s okay; we always have time to stop for a little refill.

What a “smashing” way to end my last session of 2012! I met this lovely family when I did their family Christmas pictures.  Just two weeks later we had the cake smash session and we had so much fun! Little Emma sure had her fill of cake and wasn’t sure if my studio had become an ice skating rink  Those cakes can become slippery when they are mixed in you footsies and toes.  Happy Birthday Emma, you little sweet princess!!
